This is another one in series of "Spiritual" articles to stir our mind...who knows what small thought clicks, as a popular ad-line goes: "An Idea can change your life !!!". So here it goes...
At various places u read articles on WHAT IS EGO, MIND and SOUL? These things seem too complex, time-wasting unnecessary hypothetical theories but are infact very obvious. You just need a serious thought to see the tacit proclaimations being made in various spiritual texts. Let's have a look at our overall body structure as numerous spiritual pieces put it. The human body is made of 9 elements, 5 of which are Physical, another 3 Logical and last one Divine. All 9 elements are actually various forms of the one & only supremal element UNIFIED CONCIOUSNESS. Let us take a look...
First 5 are so called "elements of Nature" - EARTH matter (our body minerals & overall chemical structure...BioChemistry!), AIR matter (the air within our body exists as 5 loosely connected regions which have effect on our Neuro-Muscular system), FIRE matter (our Metabolic heat, Body heat & Overall atomic field of our body atoms' Energy), WATER matter (Body Fluids...which also affect our thoughts...as Water is considered to be vulnerable to all radiation & gravitational forces from all planets & Stars of this universe) & SKY-ETHER matter (our Mental faculties...activities associated with capability of our bodies to act as Wireless,Mediumless Communication...and all those parapsychological stuff !!!). Right ?! These 5 elements thus make for our physical aspects. Our Aura (i.e. the casing of energy around us) is also caused by these 5 elements and reflects all activities taking within us, in form of Energy-pattern. This Energy-pattern better reflects the gross total of overall experiences gained by a Soul till that moment. For the next 3 elements, we have Ego, Mind and Intelligence. # "Ego" or "Ego-profile" is the our identification of ourselves as a particular person...Mr. or Ms. so-n-so...as a male or female...as a rich or poor...as an intelligent or a fool...as a white or black person...a combination of all these. We identify ourselves as a set of values for each physical & social parameter...like we define ourselves as Name=Kumar, Relegion=Hindu, Occupation=Engineer, Belief="I am the most smart, most intelligent, most good-natured fellow..etc.", Colour=Wheatish, Weight=5'8''...and so on. It's like "a set of parameters" (hence called Ego-profile or Mental Personality) mapped on a soul. People with "Multiple-personality" disorders are infact those who have multiple Ego-profiles loaded on same soul...where each conflicts to attain control of Mind and causes to see itself as a different person.
# "Mind" is kinda system software, the basic-controller/strategist of the body. It is mind that keeps a gross total of all experiences learned in all previous births. It controls functioning of Brain which in turn controls the whole body.It is mind that maps Ego-profile to Soul...it is mind that decides HOW to analyse things, HOW to respond. So, if you control your Mind, you have a better control on all aspects of your body. Mind operates in realm of "what causes this world" i.e. the basic paradox of existence of "solidified-energy-particles" that form the universe ! Thus it has both a Psychological (natural) side as well as a Parapsychological (supernatural) side to it.
# "Intelligence" is ability to relate all events around us in terms of cause-and-effect, to compare things relatively.
The 9th element is Divine element in Human Body known as "Soul", which is our identification of our existence as a "being". A soul sees itself as a different entity from another soul, though they both are in illusion of having an existence...and upon that separate individual existence!!! Soul is an element of Divinity that pertains to a specific body.A soul does get affected by Ego-profiles it acquires in different births. The purpose of soul is to come out of the illusion of its existence, to cross-over from a sense of being "just an individual entity" to realizing it's true nature as OMNIPRESENT-OMNISCIENT-EVEREXISTING UNIFIED CONCIOUSNESS(big term!! I know but even this doesn't suffice). A Drop in the Ocean has a false illusion of a separate existence, similarily this SOUL can't claim itself different from DIVINE. Ghosts are beings that don't have a physical body( i.e. the first 5 elements) while a Soul in its true sense doesn't associate itself with a particular Body or Ego-profile. But as said earlier, it does carries the overall summation of thoughts, habits, Karma of all previous births (each of which had a different Ego-profile). SOUL is contained not just in a body, it exists in all dimensions of world, be it time or space. It is a mindless, innocent existence unlike ghosts which associate themselves to usually their last ego-profile (last birth).
The supremal element UNIFIED CONCIOUSNESS is DIVINE GOD who can't be exactly described in words because GOD is one limitless element in all aspects. God is just a term for what I just wrote as OMNIPRESENT-OMNISCIENT-EVEREXISTING UNIFIED CONCIOUSNESS. We depending on our social parameters (read Relegion) of present Ego-profile take alternative names of Ishvar, Allah, Sat-Shree-Akaal, God... but does that make a difference?! GOD is indeed our primary element and of everything around us. In straight words, WE ARE GOD AND EVERYTHING AROUND US IS ALSO GOD. In multiple levels of Illusions, you first fall to think yourself as Just-a-Soul, then you develop a Mind, then begins the cycle of EGO-profiles accompanied by Physical Body. The cause of the birth-cycle is your belief in this illusory world and related unfulfilled desires. It is all only DIVINE ELEMENT which exhibits itself as Conciousness, as Physical aspect and also Spiritual aspect, which means all other 8 elements are derivatives or result of DIVINE element. Our purpose is thus too realize our elemental-existence as DIVINE i.e to realize it's just you all around and thus Love yourself. Enjoy your Divine Beauty!!!

Life in and around us
Everyday we hear spiritual men saying that there is life in everything that is present naturally in this world. Scientific world too has verified this fact in many facets of the existence around us. But do you know that decades ago, this fact was publicly proved by two people.This article draws heavily from "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Sri Sri Paramhansa Yogananda, a great soul that physically manifested itself from January 5, 1893 to March 7, 1952. Here are some facts from his great autobiography:
1) Sir Jagadish C. Bose, the exemplary physicist and plant physiologist was the first one to prove that animals, plants & even metals all have life. They all behave like real soulful beings. His wireless inventions (wireless coherer & instrument to detect Electric Waves)antedated that of Marconi. It's just he didn't exploit it comercially. He was firstly a physicist and contributed some notable observations including that of particle BOSON. He invented Crescograph, producing 10 million magnifications & was knighted for the same in 1917. In his meeting with Yoganandaji, he showed him his experiments on a fern plant. In the magnified image of plant's shadow, its continuous growth was clearly visible. When he touched its tip with a rod, its growth paused & resumed as the rod was removed.Then he showed how plant fell asleep on administering Chloroform & then it woke up on administering its antidote. When he "hurt" it by piercing it, it showd spasmodic flutters to show "pain".When it was finally cut by razor, it showed violent shaking then stilled, thus finally "dying". He also proved there is complete circulatory system in all plants, like our heart. Peristaltic waves are issued from a cylindrical tube that travel through out the plant and hence it's not just the capillary-action as thought earlier. He then showed reaction of metals like piece of tin using another instrument (that recorded characteristic waves of atomic structres), by applying similar stimuli. It also showed in terms of graph fixed patterns on these stimuli. His work has time & again substantiated by several other scientists.
2) In California USA, Yoganandaji met Mr. Luther Burbank of Santa Rosa. This great man was famous for his special garden where he had done some really miraculous experiments with plants. He had improved plant-breeding using Scientific methods as well as "love". While he experimented for a "spineless" cactus, he would often talk to them to create a vibration of love. He would tell them, "You don't need your defensive thorns. I'll protect you." And soon it appeared in a "thornless" variety. All this may sound unbelievable, but as you all may know recently too, scientists proved that playing good soft music to plants helped in faster & better crops. in another experiment, he made walnut tree reach a state of abundant nut production, in just 16 yrs. Unaided it wud have taken twice that time. He wrote a book titled "The Training of the Human Plant". He wrote, "The most stubborn living thing in this world, the most difficult to swerve, is a plant once fixed in a certain habits......Remember that this plant has preserved its individuality all through the ages......Do you suppose, after all these ages of repetition, the plant doesn't become possesed of a will, if u so choose to call it, of unparalled tenacity."
So, undoubtedly you must have understood how that life-force materializes itself in & around us in countless forms. It's just that we lack the "eye" that can constantly see this picture and find ever-pervading unison in terms of life-force.

How many times have you spared a serious thought on the Biology & Physics taking place inside u? We all study these basic subjects in our educational studies. But ever thought of viewing things in terms of what we call "general" Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology etc...Question urself, "When our bodies are made of cells (EACH OF WHICH IS A COMPLETE LIVING BEING IN ITSELF) why is it that we relate our existence to this gross body?" or rather in such a case, where our body is composed several million various kinds of Cells (each a complete living being) then " WHAT IS OUR EGO - THIS IDEA OF US A WHOLE PHYSICAL BODY?"These questions may seem awkward but hold answers to great spiritual realizations. Lets give u a sample. I have read, this "FOOD FOR THOUGHT" was once given by Einstein to his colleagues. Try this:
U know that all things in this world are made of basic particles. Even Proton, Neutrons...are made of still smaller quarks like spin,color etc which guide a particles' behaviour. Going still deep, evrybody knows E=m(c^2) law which verifies that at minutest level a particle has a dual nature - physical as well as Energy. So, everything is Energy at the deepest level of existence in this world. Now, FORGET THE PHYSICAL BOUNDARIES OF VARIOUS THINGS AROUND U, EVEN UR OWN BODY & RATHER PERCEIVE EVERYTHING AS ONE INFINITE CLOUD OF LUMINOUS ENERGY. This cloud that is everchanging its shape due to various chemical reactions taking place around u. Since it is Energy changing from one form to another, where lies the boundaries when ENERGY IS FLOWING IN ALL DIRECTIONS, FROM ALL DIRECTIONS. Relax urself, forget ur worries because u can see evrything is the same ONE LUMINOUSITY. Physical things are just "solidifed" energy and U URSELF HAVE NO PHYSICALLY LIMITED BODY. U R JUST CONSCIOUS OF THIS LUMINOUS SCENERY. U CAN'T SAY WHERE UR SKIN ENDS AND WHERE AIR THAT TOUCHES IT STARTS. Feel ur strength, u exist to the ends of the world because u r this Intelligent Conscious Energy, taking countless physical forms all over the world. IT'S LIKE A MOTION PICTURE HAPPENING ON SCREEN OF EVER PURE ENERGY.
Do it till u feel good. But do explore & question like a child to ur inner self. It will answer ur queries, though it may at times seem like U r applying logic to just satisfy urself. But that's the only way u finally reach the answer - explore, correct ur fundas by re-exploring this vast Consciousness. Hope now u understand why every other spiritual person tells u that world is unreal. For a comparison (often quoted one!):
U have H2O (Water) in a beaker in ice form. It melts & later some of it evaporates. So if now we look into this sample of H2O, it has ICE, WATER and WATER-VAPOUR all three in different physical forms but originally the same. Same as there are countless manifestations of God's "Intelligent Conscious Energy" in this world which differ physically. U just need that Eye to look things in their full bliss, as one continous pool of Energy. Though all above is not exact picture of world because Science is not mature enough to handle complex truths of this world & of Spiritual existence.
